JD Supra has featured three articles from Shook’s Cloud IPQ: Enhancing Your Cloud IQ blog on its year-end list of "The Year in Patent Litigation - Popular Reads in 2018."
The legal news aggregator singled out the following Cloud IPQ articles as among the “most read” patent litigation news of the year:
- “Cloud Computing Patent Litigation Trends – Competitor Cases, Open Source Targets, Cloud Customers,” by Partner Bart Eppenauer;
- “USAA Fighting to Protect Cloud-Based Check Depositing Assets Against Competitors,” by Associate Heather Hedeen;
- “Loved by Many, Cloud-Based Remove DBR Programming Functionality Falls Victim As Rovi Fails Second Patent Infringement Strike Against Comcast,” by Associate Jonathan Barnard.
Shook launched Cloud IPQ to focus on the increasing number of patent lawsuits filed against cloud computing companies. Shook was the only firm to have three articles make the list.
“This is deeply rewarding,” stated Eppenauer. “Cloud IPQ is designed to raise awareness and provide meaningful insight on IP issues impacting the cloud computing landscape. We’re pleased readers are finding value in our articles.”
